About

Big-band vocalist and songwriter Dan McVey often pens songs that relate to his personal life, such as watching his grandchildren grow or travelling to a favourite holiday destination.

One new song, Still Swingin', reveals how his passion for swing music began when he first heard recordings of famous big bands such as Count Basie.

The song heads up one of two original albums. Still Swingin' and Through The Years reflect the big band swing and soft rock genres that audiences have warmed to in Dan's live performances.

Both albums are now well complimented by a cover album, Days Of Wine And Roses, featuring a selection of songs from a golden era in recording.

Dan's new live show continues the Still Swingin theme and features a fascinating look at the transition in popular music from the swing era to the early days of rock and roll. All very upbeat, as his audiences have come to expect!:
